      • The station could provide useful information to the Jamaican public especially on how the country is governed. In addition this would include invaluable lessons on the financial state of the Island and how the public could help to lessen the trade deficit by curbing their spending on foreign goods. Instead what we hear is pure gibberish on the daily talk-show Straight-up. The show host need to counter the nonsense with rational thinking. A university radio or any other of its media format should be used to educate not to propagate rubbish. The Island is already riddled with so much ignorance and violence that the university through its media can play a huge role in social improvement. Please refrain from trying to out do the competition in their "call-in" mediocrity contest.
