Sabras Radio

Sanskar Radio is a part of the Sabras Radio family, adding to the variety of programmes that are already on offer. The aim of Sanskar Radio is to raise cultural, social, religious, educational and economical awareness among Hindu listeners through programme production. Thirty two people are involved in the running of the group, four of whom are committee members, and all the people involved are volunteers. Sanskar Radio broadcasts on DAB Digital Radio for 18 hours every-day. Shows are broadcast from Sabras Radio House, and the programmes cater for men, women and children, young and old. Each programme aims to assist the community members who have little insight of the Hindu faith and religion, as well as broadening the knowledge of those who are aware of Hinduism, and may be followers of it. All types of religious Hindu music is featured throughout every show.
