92.5 Cheshire FM

Cheshire Radio is applying for a licence to launch an FM community radio station for mid Cheshire - Northwich, Winsford, Middlewich and the surrounding area. Unlike other counties in England, Cheshire does not have a county-wide  BBC local radio station. There is also no local commercial radio station in this area. Cheshire FM will be the station dedicated to mid-Cheshire and for those who live, work, study and play in this area. Cheshire FM will play music but speech will be equally important.  The station will offer a voice to all sections of the community. Cheshire FM will be a community-based enterprise that will thrive and flourish through engagement with volunteers who work on the station and shape what we listen to. If you think this sounds like a good idea, we need to hear from you.
