Public Radio for the Upper Great Lakes Region. The Public Radio 90 WNMU-FM, Northern Michigan University's public radio station. We strive to provide a positive environment on the Public Radio 90 Facebook page, through which members and contributors of Public Radio 90 and friends can communicate with us and with each other. Northern Michigan University's public radio and television stations operate from on-campus studios in NMU's Learning Resources Center and broadcast from a transmitter located in Ely Township, southwest of Ishpeming. Featuring NPR news, classical, jazz, traditional, Blues and international music as well as entertainment programs.
